Playboy's up for sale, Paste has launched a last-ditch "Save Paste" campaign in an attempt to stave off folding, and legendary newspapers are falling like the murdered dinosaurs they are. Despite the lack of revenue, people still love these brands and are turning to eBay to find issues, according to eBay market data site Terapeak.com.
Back issues of Domino are going for an average of 20 bucks on the site, while Country Home, O at Home and Cottage Living are fetching about $5. Bidders are paying about $60 for the 2006 issue of Men's Vogue, featuring cover boy Barack Obama, and about $14 for Paste's rare music compilation CDs.
