Have you ever had a stalker? I have. It sounds kind of glamorous for a second--the attention, the incessant begging phone calls alternating with threatening ones, flowers outside the door one day, death threats the next--but it wears on you, let me tell you.
These days I am very careful about the people I let into my life; but a ghost from my past just won't go away.
I broke up with Myspace maybe two weeks ago and I won't lie--it was ugly. There was begging. I thought it was over, but I noticed lingering messages in my email inbox. I thought maybe there was an awkward grace period I was expected to endure until I received this tonight.
Am I wrong in thinking that this is harassment? I mean, we just broke up and I haven't gone back. Myspace is trying to mess with my mind--make me believe I want to get back into the fold...but I don't! I want out!
Clearly, I have two options: leave town or involve the FBI. As a non-confrontational gal, Arizona, here I come!
